The Virginia Association for Management Analysis and Planning
2000 Annual Conference
November 19-21 The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center
There are a variety of topics and presenters this
year, covering IR, planning, budgeting, evaluation, and institutional
effectiveness practices in both public and private institutions. The conference
will feature a plenary session given by J. Joseph Hoey on SACS institutional
effectiveness guidelines and strategies for implementation that will provide a
wealth of information of interest to all VAMAP members. Many of the new
initiatives regarding higher education in Virginia will also be reviewed and
discussed including reports of institutional effectiveness, institutional
performance agreements, the master plan for higher education in Virginia, and
base budgeting. SCHEV Director Phyllis Palmiero will address the
organization, and VAMAP is offering professional development workshops again
this year
